    Biography:

    Thomas graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2003 with first class honours degrees in both Laws and Arts.  During his time at university, Thomas was awarded a number of academic awards, including the Murdock Clarke Corporations Law Prize and the Dobson, Mitchell & Allport prize as the top graduating student across commercial law subjects.

    Prior to coming to the bar, Thomas completed articles of clerkship with Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and then worked as a solicitor in the firm’s commercial litigation group for the following two years. 

    In 2006, Thomas moved to London with the firm of Allen & Overy working as a solicitor predominantly in the area of banking and finance law.  He returned to Australia in late 2008 and was appointed an Associate to the Hon. Justice Vickery of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

    Thomas is available to advise and appear in all manner of commercial disputes.
